Instant Digital Download

This Port-themed quilt block pattern features a Gantry Crane loading a Container Ship in Port. This pattern was designed at the request of a quilter who works in a Port. It is a fun 12x18" Quilt Block pattern which uses the foundation paper pieced method to make an awesome wall hanging or combine it with other pieced or applique blocks for a larger quilt!

The PDF Pattern file is able to be instantly downloaded and includes:
- 12 x coloured foundation templates including a seam allowance.
- Layout Diagrams which can help the sewer with template placement when joining the sections together.
- Thorough written instructions detailing the order for sewing each section together.
-

The pattern does not include basic foundation paper piecing instructions. This pattern would be best suited to those with some previous experience using the paper piecing method.

You may use this pattern to create hand made quilts to sell at markets, online or display on social media, blogs etc. It should not be used for mass production. If you sell or display online, please consider providing credit to Kohatu Patterns, and/or a link to my store or blog. Although this is not an essential requirement - it is most appreciated!

Frequently Asked Questions

I found a mistake in one of your patterns, what can I do about it?

Each of my patterns has been developed with care and tested by multiple people. However, if you find a mistake in one of my patterns, please send me an email containing a photo of the mistake or detailed description (page number and problem) within 30 days of your original purchase. I will not only refund your purchase, but will also provide you with another pattern free of charge as well as a corrected copy of the pattern you originally purchased when it becomes available.

The pattern I purchased does not list fabric requirements - Is this a mistake?

It's not a mistake. Most of my patterns are Foundation Pieced Patterns and Fabric requirements can vary greatly depending on your technique, experience and level of skill.
I have found that most people like to use scraps from their stash or Fat Quarters to make smaller Foundation Pieced blocks.
Large Patterns and Patterns that are not Foundation Pieced will have a list fabric requirements.

I cant seem to access or download my pattern. What can I do?

The item you have purchased is digital in nature. I highly recommend you download it immediately after purchase and save a copy of this file to your computer for future use. However if something goes wrong and for some reason you can no longer access your pattern, email me with a copy of your receipt, date of purchase or Etsy order number and I will send you another copy as soon as I can.
