A paper pieced Backhoe tractor patchwork quilt block pattern, perfect for making a roadwork or construction themed quilt for a little boy!
This pattern is a 12" quilt block and uses the Foundation Paper Piecing method.
The pattern has 13 template pieces, and they all include colours to help you place the right fabric in the right places, seam allowances with notes to guide you in sewing the templates together. There are also comprehensive written instructions and diagrams to help you put the pattern together.
This pattern was designed at the request of a customer to compliment some of the other road work and construction vehicle patterns in my store. Mixing and matching these patterns can make a lovely quilt which most little boys will love!
Basic instructions for Foundation paper piecing are also included, although this block may be more suited to those who have used the method previously.

But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Each of my patterns has been developed with care and tested by multiple people. However, if you find a mistake in one of my patterns, please send me an email containing a photo of the mistake or detailed description (page number and problem) within 30 days of your original purchase. I will not only refund your purchase, but will also provide you with another pattern free of charge as well as a corrected copy of the pattern you originally purchased when it becomes available.
It's not a mistake. Most of my patterns are Foundation Pieced Patterns and Fabric requirements can vary greatly depending on your technique, experience and level of skill.
I have found that most people like to use scraps from their stash or Fat Quarters to make smaller Foundation Pieced blocks.
Large Patterns and Patterns that are not Foundation Pieced will have a list fabric requirements.
