Ah ah ah ah Stayin’ Alive! Stayin’ Alive!
If you are like me and love musicals and movies then you will really enjoy making this paper pieced quilt block pattern which has been inspired by the movie Saturday Night Fever!
The Stayin’ Alive pattern contains templates for 14”, 16” and a 24” quilt block. This means it fits perfectly with the Saturday Night Fever pattern! The 24” templates are arranged on A3 sized paper and may need to be printed at your local print shop (unless you have an A3 printer at home).
The foundation paper pieced quilt block templates have a colour guide to assist you in placing fabric accurately and all include a 1/4” seam allowance. There are no Y seams and it’s all straight lines sewing!
Just like my other patterns The Stayin’ Alive pattern has comprehensive written instructions to help you construct your quilt block and I have also included a diagram to help you in template orientation.
This quilt block pattern has 14 template sections to piece together, and is well worth the effort! Previous experience in foundation paper piecing is recommended.
This is an instantly downloadable PDF Pattern.
Purchasers may use the pattern to make physical items to sell at markets or online if they wish, on a small (handmade) scale. Credit to Kohatu Patterns for the design is highly appreciated where appropriate.
Your files will be available to download once payment is confirmed.
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
Each of my patterns has been developed with care and tested by multiple people. However, if you find a mistake in one of my patterns, please send me an email containing a photo of the mistake or detailed description (page number and problem) within 30 days of your original purchase. I will not only refund your purchase, but will also provide you with another pattern free of charge as well as a corrected copy of the pattern you originally purchased when it becomes available.
It's not a mistake. Most of my patterns are Foundation Pieced Patterns and Fabric requirements can vary greatly depending on your technique, experience and level of skill.
I have found that most people like to use scraps from their stash or Fat Quarters to make smaller Foundation Pieced blocks.
Large Patterns and Patterns that are not Foundation Pieced will have a list fabric requirements.
The item you have purchased is digital in nature. I highly recommend you download it immediately after purchase and save a copy of this file to your computer for future use. However if something goes wrong and for some reason you can no longer access your pattern, email me with a copy of your receipt, date of purchase or Etsy order number and I will send you another copy as soon as I can.
